On the second weekend of September, Dove Street in central Bristol hosted its first ever Community Arts Festival.

Organised by the Dove Street Action Group, the Festival opened on Friday 9th September with an evening event in the Snail Gallery, Dove Street's very own exhibition space.

On Saturday 10th September the annual Street Party offered music, dancing, stalls and activities for all the family.

The Festival ended on Sunday 11th with further activities and another chance to view the exhibits.

On show during the Festival was artwork produced by members and friends of the local community.

The work included specially commissioned audio and visual pieces, performances and an exhibition in the Snail Gallery as well as the Trail itself around Dove Street.
